Irit Hadar is a Professor at the Faculty of Computer and Information Science, Director, Center for Cyber, Law & Policy, and founder of the research hub: Design Thinking for Socio-Technical Innovation, University of Haifa. Her research focuses on cognitive aspects of software engineering and AI, with emphasis on cybersecurity, privacy, and ethics. Hadar serves on the editorial boards of the journals Empirical Software Engineering and Requirements Engineering, and as a steering committee member of the IEEE Int. Conference on Requirements Engineering. Hadar is active in international projects of tech for good and in the national initiative "Tech 50:50" for gender equality in the tech industry.
