מייסד וראש מעבדות החדשנות בחיפה (HIL) — מרכז כלל-אוניברסיטאי לחדשנות ויזמות. HIL מגשר בין האקדמיה, התעשייה והקהילה, ומציע קורסים אקדמיים, תוכניות האצה והאקתונים בתחומים כגון בריאות ורווחה, כלכלה כחולה, וקיימות וחוסן אקלימי. המרכז תומך בצוותים בין-תחומיים של סטודנטים, חוקרים ויזמים תוך שימוש בשיטות כגון Lean Startup ו-Design Thinking.

מנהל תחום החדשנות והקיימות, לשכת הנשיא — מוביל את מערך הקיימות וההשפעה של אוניברסיטת חיפה, ומקדם את "המשימה השלישית" של האקדמיה באמצעות תמיכה בפרויקטי מחקר ובתוכניות הוראה בעלי השפעה חיובית ישירה על החברה והסביבה, בהתאם ליעדי הפיתוח בר-הקיימא של האו"ם (SDGs).
