About

Tsvi Kuflik is an Israeli computer scientist and professor of Information Systems at the University of Haifa. His research focuses on intelligent user interfaces, user modeling, and ubiquitous computing. He is a senior Israeli academic who studies how AI and computer systems can better understand users and interact with them in smart environments (for example museums or mobile systems).
He is a former head of the Information Systems Department at the University of Haifa.
He is an author of 350+ scientific publications in journals and conferences.
Recognized as a Distinguished Scientist of the Association for Computing Machinery and a distinguished contributor of the IEEE.
He is anorganizer and chair of several international conferences in fields like intelligent interfaces and personalization.

Tsvi got his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Computer Science and Ph.D. in Information Systems from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. Tsvi has about 20 years in the software industry before joining academia.
