ד""ר דרור היא מרצה בכירה במחלקה למערכות מידע, בפקולטה למדעי המחשב ומידע, אוניברסיטת חיפה. היא השלימה את לימודי הפוסט-דוקטורט שלה בקבוצת החישוב הקוגניטיבי במחלקה למדעי המחשב ומידע, אוניברסיטת פנסילבניה, בשיתוף פעולה עם פרופ' דן רוט. היא השלימה את הדוקטורט שלה בקבוצת עיבוד שפה טבעית, בהנחיית פרופ' רועי רייכרט, בפקולטה להנדסת תעשייה וניהול בטכניון. מחקרה עוסק בפיתוח מתודולוגיות מבוססות סטטיסטית לחקירה והערכה אמפירית עבור מדעי הנתונים, תוך התמקדות ביישומי עיבוד שפה טבעית.

תחומי מחקר
- ביסוס שיטות מחקר עמידות וניתנות להכללה לשיפור הריגורוזיות של חקירות אמפיריות במדעי הנתונים, ובפרט בעיבוד שפה טבעית (NLP). עבודתי מספקת טכניקות ניתנות לאימות למדידה והערכה שיטתית של ביצועי מודלים במשימות אובייקטיביות וסובייקטיביות כאחד.
- תכנון ותיקוף פרוטוקולים מתקדמים לשיפור האמינות בצנרת המחקר של NLP. זה כרוך בפיתוח מסגרות מבוססות סטטיסטית לכימות איכות תיוגים של נתונים וקביעת בנצ׳מרקים למשימות מורכבות.
- פיתוח מתודולוגיות סטטיסטיות חדשניות להערכה אמפירית מקיפה של מודלי שפה גדולים (LLMs) בתרחישים מורכבים בעולם האמיתי. זה כולל פיתוח מדדים חדשים להערכת ביצועי LLMs כשופטים אוטומטיים, יעילותם כסוכנים במשימות מונחות מטרה, ועקביותם באימוץ פרסונות מגוונות.
